I hear that Mark Carney wants some kind of alliance with the crumbling European Union. I want nothing to do with the EU’s Ursula von der Leyen sticking her nose in any of our Canadian business.
It’s outrageous that Carney thinks he has the authoritarian right to even do it like some kind of dictator. What is wrong with him?
We’ve also been kept in the dark about some kind of defence co-ordination talks with China.
Carney is absolutely selling out Canada just to spite the U.S. It’s an outright losing strategy.

Your “lost decade” editorial was quite informative, but it missed the real culprit. I am sure many will agree that the former PM was responsible for “failed experiments that haunt us today”.
My concern is that the former PM did not fly in from outer space. He had a track record that your article referenced, but few voters paid attention to it. Perhaps it’s time for we, the voters, to accept responsibility for our mistakes during the lost decade.

SOME ACTUALLY PRAISING CARNEY?
It is amazing how some Canadians praise Mark Carney for the retaliation tariffs. If he had not given Donald Trump the cold shoulder and went flying all over the world trying to get other countries to trade with us, and basically telling Trump we don’t need the billions upon billions of dollars of trade with your country, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in today.
Trump may do some real stupid things, but he holds the power.
