A woman who previously confronted a Juno News reporter and threatened legal action went viral Thursday after repeatedly calling Premier Danielle Smith a “fascist” during a K-Days pancake breakfast at the Alberta Legislature.
The confrontation unfolded during the Premier’s Breakfast, held Thursday morning in Edmonton on the south lawn of the Alberta Legislature to mark the return of the annual K-Days celebration.
The incident began when a woman wearing a “Protect Trans Kids” shirt approached Smith and questioned her over Alberta’s AI data centre strategy and economic development.
“I’m just wondering about Alberta selling out to billionaires,” the woman said. “Do you actually think the Epstein class is going to protect you when it all goes down?”
